You've encapsulated wit, anger, disgust, irritation and a hankering for retribution in this piece. Reminds me of a quote from Joseph Conrad: "Being a woman is a terribly difficult task, since it consists principally in dealing with men." Bemoan, bewail, lament... it's a good way to flush the s___t out of the pipes. Best rant I've read in a while. r

She sounds like a wonderful free spirit. I have always been intrigued and sought out elderly people for their wisdom and experience. I currently have a 92-year-old uncle who once made me a wonderful hamburger before hitting the road again. I also have an uncle coming up on 101 who still has a sparkle in his eye when he tells of something he just learned or remembers adventures he had long ago that are still vivid today.
You did her justice and that's all you could do. She would love it.
