From the excerpt, I especially enjoyed your pictorial of the heroine because she reflects the feelings of many young women going through the teenage years. Sometimes being bullied for the wrong reasons and feeling alienated. So, although I didn't read it in the chapter 1, I believe you provide comic relief for nerdy kids who have to endure those kinds of insults as they finish school in their hometowns. Fortunately, many like Bill Gates, do very well in later years.
I agree with your reviews. They seem to have describe your writing and your stories quite well. I am most happy that you labeled this one Young Adult/Teen. Aside from the realistic portrayal of high school life, it certainly is not "science" fiction, because the spacey parts are simply fantasy. I'm getting tired of authors considering their fantasy to be science-based.
