My inital thoughts on this reading were that I might have stepped off into something that I could not enjoy, but I was wrong. I am certainly no romance reader, though parts of my novel "Shut Up" might lead a fan to believe differently. Kahramaan gave me an entirely different flavour. I felt the sting of Anwars weaknesses in areas that might have seemed less than masculine. I knew his honor was based in duty and family. I could envision his concern about appearance when such a beautiful young lady as Amber shows her feelings to him. My limited understanding of the Moslem world and high rulerships were plowed under by the author's ability to enhance a strong image of character. Nicely done.

And this wonderful saga continues between Anwar and Amber. Once againg author Rhonda Collins escapes us into another time and place with realistic descriptions that made me shiver. The soft touch of a man's tenderness so seductive. I could almost feel that touch myself.
As for Amber, the author, truly portrays potential life like emotions that one can feel, but leaving you with a wonder and sence of when Amber just may submit to her passion and to her family.
What a read!

Aaahhh, forbidden love, never shall a story be told so enthrawling as this. I believe at one time or another in our lives we have all been brushed with the prospect of a love that would not be excepted or workable. Most of us turn the other way. However this fine author has the talent to capture us into this real world that exist between only these two people, Anwar and Amber, as their love is so strong that they go against the unwritten laws of reason and into the laws of nature as they see it.
A wonderful romance, but not one with out its problems. Those are truly the most realistic.
Thank you Ms Collins for this glimpse into a far away world.
