I like the lightness in this little ditty about those annoying itches.
I've been having a lot of those lately postponing my beauty rest. But of course the biggest itch of all, craving women, will stay with me until I can no longer have the scratch. ;-)

THIS SHARING REMINDS ME OF THE SCRIPTURE, 'FOR GOD IS LOVE'. 'HATE' IS A VERY HARD WORD TO INGEST...IT IS THE DEPTHS OF 'LOATHING', INDEED, THAT WHICH WE SHOULD FEEL TOWARDS EVIL. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS POST AS LONG AS WE REMEMBER TO 'HATE THE EVIL'...'BUT NOT THE PERSON'. FOR, HOW CAN WE SAY WE LOVE GOD WHO WE HAVE NEVER SEEN, BUT HATE THOSE WHO WE DO SEE? I can understand someone becoming angry. But be careful with hatred. Throughout our brief history we have found out, time and time again, that what we thought was evil, wasn't. The very God that everyone refers to as creating all things, created these evils that have turned out to be beneficial when scientifically examined.
Words are fine, but when they are carried out in an action like "cast away all that makes not prosper" may be "throwing out the baby with the bathwater."
Note: bathing was considered to be evil in medieval times. Louis XIV of France never bathed. Why the French love their perfume so much. In the spring when it was warm enough to heat water by firewood in a container. Father would bathe, mother would bathe, all the sisters and brothers would bathe. And the last, the baby, might get lost in the very dirty murky bathwater. Forgetting the baby when the water was cooled off enough to pour out, sometimes revealed the forgotten baby as it was thrown out with the bathwater.

Courage is what you give to yourself during a life and death situation. Unless you are faced with a life and death situation all talks about courage are just egotistical.

The title of this poem is "Coward", and I supposed that is what you have written how a coward would feel. I sensed there is a lot of disappointment being felt by you, perhaps towards the people whom you should care. Yet, your past experiences with these loved ones have caused you to think twice about sticking out your neck to safe them again.

That's a very fine set of short poems that say a lot. The themes vary, but they all seem to make one point or another that makes good sense, the essence of good poetry--communication.

Speaking from recent personal experience, the purging of the hurt you feel may be what you need to reach your goals. If I hadn't gone through the crushing grief following the death of my mother I don't think I'd see my life the same way. In fact I know I wouldn't. Now each day feels like I'm a bit more awakened. An interesting look at life. I hope you are not in need of purging, just being artistic.
I have been singing lately to my partner. One of the songs that comes up all the time is, "Please Release Me," by Engelbert Humperdinck. She finds it quite apropos, wanting to be purged of me. ;-) I think that old Engelbert was just trying to lose that name. ;-)

We are all going through some kind of transition, especially in times of pandemics, our lives are not guaranteed. I am an anti-vaccine person, so my life is not guaranteed one way or another. Look at what's happening in Kentucky and around the world. No one's life is being guaranteed, for sure. I am just living one day at a time, just doing the things that please me. I have learned to find ways to entertain myself and others during this awful pandemic time. We've got to do this for ourselves because no one else will.

I like how clearly these words form an impression and a vision, but the strength of this, I think, is the profound ‘event’ this describes. There is music to the lines, as they tell a story, beginning, middle, end, beginning. Best read aloud, there is grace in the words themselves. And I had to look up ‘mage,’ so thanks for increasing my vocabulary. “Unnoticed by the blunt,” makes the word ‘blunt’ become descriptive of ‘unaware individuals.’ I like that. ~~ djl
