The Rock Star Chronicles (Book) - 3/18/2020 7:52:02 AM
Like you, I agree that some of the greatest music written came out of the late 60s and early 70s, from the British invasion and the American response. I never was a music aficionado, being a failed piano and accordion player after that the lessons. I always liked to sing like the stars and dance to the music. But thankfully, I didn't have to go through all of those music equipment purchases that you described. I just listened to the music on my car radio (mostly AM) and a Sony AM/FM clock radio I bought in 1968. For music aficionados, it took all of their discretionary money. I saved mine and still listened to the music.
I just watched Bohemian Rhapsody. I didn't know that Freddie Mercury was Farsi like a very good friend of mine. I think they did a good job with his story.
I won't be reading your book, just commenting here. If you videotaped those conversations, they would probably be a big hit on YouTube.
