I'm not into romance, but this novel uses all the right words… There's nothing more Western than "Dallas Kincaid." And the various Indian tribes lending that mystique certainly sets up a nice background for a romance novel.
My uncle divorced his Polish wife and left his first three kids while he was in World War II. He married a Blackfoot woman and had seven more children. There doesn't seem to be much romance about his life that I know of.
