This must be my purple day--I mean lucky day! I don't read stories much, but here I am at the end of your Fathers' Day at the beach, laughing at you in all your purple glory.
My husband's stock answer is, "a certificate for dinner" but they insist on buying things he can exchange, and usually does.

I stayed in prison forth years. Mine was a mental prison, although I had occasion to visit the other kind for a few years. We make our own prisons and we can make our escape. Happens every day. Looks like you might be making you as we speak.

I know this feeling very well. I have my own prison to live in. God be with you and help you thru this. Keep writing, and writing and writing...it helps and much cheaper than therapy.:)
