What a refreshing read! I loved the references to country music. I loved the man who was driven to improve everything he saw that was wrong with the world...the grass, littering, etc,. Marvin Baines is a man who is wrong about a lot of things, but he finally figures it out! You'll laugh out loud, you'll see yourself or your friends in this light, yet a true-felt story! I recommend this book if you like to laugh and possibly cry at the same time!

"The Famous Union" is a very funny, fast book to read. With the way things are today in education, this witty satire is worth the read. I highly recommend it.
