Some good advice in this poem. I often wonder why people work so hard to gather all that "stuff" that they can't use and can't take with them.

A peace that doesn't last isn't true peace. One's honest perception is the yardstick of "measurement" when it comes to matters of the soul.
What we go through in life prepares us for that which we sinsirely aspire for, and clearly intend and move towards.

I sense a very deep concern that what is promised, a wide open land with a peaceful purpose, is doubted. After so much more pain and hardship, it is very difficult to trust that peace is lasting and real. It will take time for peace to work, before you and your poem will be comfortable back in your homeland.
