I am hearing from students in seminary who are using my book, HELP! For Your Leadership as a resource in class and some are writing their paper with the book as their sole resource. The write up are excellent and their opinion of the book as a resource is very positive.

Spirituality and religion do not necessarily go hand in hand.
I couldn't agree wiht Hiren Shah more, unless I were to add that I think organized religion often negates spirituality and morals.

Nice of someone to have written an article on spiritual leadership. The United states is aped the world over for its culture- its books, films and culture are very popular in the East-Japan, India etc. The serial "Friends" is popular in Pakistan of all places. America has enough charm and sway over the world. This is what real "influence" is as talked about in the article. If on the other hand one disregards the United nations, world opinion and goes to War for what seems to be dubious means in Iraq, one is bound to draw criticism. I have read about too many Americans themselves being stoutly against such wars. In India, Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi paid with his life for meddling in neighbouring Sri Lanka's affaris.When a guy is charming, he does not need muscles to impress the member of the opposite sex. Where was the need to show power when you could have won easily with charm and real influence.
If I may add, one does not have turn to organzed religion for spiritual leadership. Spirituality and religion do not necessarily go hand in hand.
