As I read the excerpt, I could sense the excitement of the crowd as they were mesmerized by the power of pageantry, a strategy that Goebel's and Hitler knew worked very well.
It sends a chill through my being as I see parallels to what happened then happening now among the American people who feel cheated and disenfranchised, shifting the blame from themselves to others and following a charismatic leader who promises them everything if only they will follow him.
This book is very short, perhaps to entice the distracted and short attention span readership out there catching short reads on their e-devices. You have timed this post quite well considering the fervor over what happened last weekend.
