True Colours (Poetry) - 7/16/2013 8:51:10 AM
Stunning in not only beauty but its true wisdom. We stunt our own selves by refusing to accept and learn from others, esp. those who are a bit different than we are.
A Day At The Seaside (Poetry) - 7/8/2013 5:23:21 AM
William,
This sounds like the 'perfect' day.

A Day At The Seaside (Poetry) - 7/2/2013 10:32:56 AM
A perfect childhood day at the beach. As time goes on, memories grow fonder and all those little ills and inconveniences described disappear in the mist of time.

A Day At The Seaside (Poetry) - 7/2/2013 9:08:22 AM
This poem brought lovely moments into my mind. It is well-written
and is a joy to read, it brings some type of relaxation to your mind
because it gives the reader the chance to imagine the whole scenery
and it is a good, comfortable relaxing one. Keep the good write up!
The Good In Me (Poetry) - 5/21/2013 2:35:31 PM
Reminds me of Brian Jones' epitaph: "When this you see, remember me, and bear me in your mind, let all the world say what they will, speak of me as you find" (or very similar - dragged up an old memory). Quite neat work William.

William,
I've often imagined how hard it must be to be famous, just going out their would be no peace. Reporters and cameras at every turn. Excellent poetry, William.
Many blessings,

It sure does. Your poem gets at the problem at its source. Talented people usually come with a lot of baggage from their childhood that made them creative in the first place. So many young talented people have died way too young.

The Unseen (Poetry) - 5/12/2013 4:31:37 PM
William,
Oh my this poem gives me chills. Its so real! Its one I wish I had written. You have an amazing talent to put yourself in another's shoes and make them SEE and FEEL what the homeless are going through. I have written homeless poems also , but nothing like this!!! This is AMAZING! What a great talent you have! When you have time read my Anonymous Faces.
Love and blessings,
+Linda
True Colours (Poetry) - 10/19/2012 7:07:27 AM
It's more than color we have to be blind to. My biggest pet peeve is ignorance. When we are ignorant we are unproductive and boring. If we open our minds and our hearts to other people, regardless of how they look and even how they act, we will be surprised how much they are just like us. In the twenty first century we need to break down all the prejudices of the past and leave them behind.

The Ladder (Poetry) - 9/29/2012 7:16:15 AM

The Ladder (Poetry) - 9/29/2012 4:18:29 AM
As John Michael would tell you, a "good" church has the kind of people who are truly brothers and sisters and would go out of their way to catch you and help you back on. And remember, God is always there when you reach out to Him!

Blind Panic (Poetry) - 9/20/2012 4:53:12 AM
I've had panic attacks in the past, acting just like this, but not for years and years so i feel God is with me and looking over me.
Friends help too as does keeping busy. A good metaphor of fears here.

a fine definitive description of a condition of body and soul ....
Blind Panic (Poetry) - 2/19/2012 2:13:56 PM
My sister and niece suffered long years with agoraphobia, locked inside themselves, unable to face the public.
Fortunately, both got help from a drug, I don't know which one, but both were able to get over their fear and operate in the world again–both very successfully–I might add.
