It's odd - Rainbows have come up a lot in my conversations lately. Perhaps it's a sign.

Not sure what to make of this except to say that the inequality of men and women is purely physical, in the physique required for reproduction. Otherwise, our brains are the same.

An interesting, and thought-provoking, cathartic construct. "Specifically chosen by your God" seems to pit the characters against each other, not only mentally, but spiritually as well. "It thrust nails into my brains" ... Brains? Plural? Are there two here besides the antagonist? The one being affected, and the one responding?

Wow! A lot of emotions expressed in this one. I have totally distanced myself from faith, hope, and prayer in favor of self-awareness and it is carried me, lo, these many years without having to rely on some myth to blame for my mistakes.
A deeply meaningful poem I'm so glad you posted.
