A cute, lyrical poem. Reminds me of the parakeet, who said, “Mary had a Little Lamb, Little Lamb, Little Lamb. Mary had a Little Lamb, whose fleece was white as Chris Mas Mas."
While parrots bond with humans quite easily and live a long time in captivity, I still think these magnificent birds belong in their natural setting where they can fly from tree to tree, joining flocks, and eating whatever food nature provides.
