This is one of the hardest books I have ever read. It didn't make any since at all.

While this book can stand alone it would be helpful to read the first in this series "Closet". I have not read "Closet" but was surprised by the material in this book. I plan on ordering "Closet" so that I can see how this remarkable story began.
I thought this book would be filled with a story about another world and that is what I got but not the kind I expected. The descriptions are just enough to understand what the author is trying to have the reader picture.
The format the author has used to write this second book is engaging from the beginning. It is suspenseful, hopeful, tragic, and in the end perfect. Without giving anything away about the story, it is a story that will have you thinking about it even when you put the book down.
This is not a book that you are going to breeze through but once you start it--you want to find out how it ends.... The characters are personable and well-written as is the whole story.
This author has taken great pains in writing this fantastic story and it shows. This reader found it encouraging to find a book for young boys and men to read. And the cover of the book is amazing in its connection to the story.

This book was not what I was expecting at all. I didn't actually realize this was a series, and since I haven't read any others I can't comment on this work as a whole. My apologies.
I loved this book. Reading it was a joy. I really don't want to give too much away, but everyone *should* read this book, especially writers. I can’t say it was flawless, quite the opposite, but the flaws were just as amazing as what was intentional. Again, I can’t give too much away, but I swear you have never read anything like this.
You will laugh (and maybe cry) as you read Swanson’s passages, and while you may be confused now and again – I sincerely encourage you to keep reading this wonderfully unique fantasy.
I also just want to say that it isn’t easy to write a novel, let alone more than one, so any typos in this self-published book are easily dismissed. I doubt this book will ever get a proper release, which is all the more reason to support Eric Swanson and take a look at this bizarrely enchanting novel.
