I love history written from first-hand experience. So glad that you are doing it. These actors gave us some of the most memorable performances, but are easily forgotten as time marches on. I recalled three of the four actors you listed in this brief description of the book.

Thanks for the tour through cinematic history. As I see the lineup of cgi-enhanced blockbuster fantasies based on comic books and extremely violent video games, it makes me long for the few true life and historical fiction works that make viewing movies worthwhile. Fortunately, there have lately been some very good dramas released to television, albeit overly violent as well because nothing sells like a good adrenaline rush. Something I'm not sure the Great Gatsby delivers--for the thrill junkies to consume like the latest designer drug.
