We didn't hear the news of the earthquake along the border between Pakistan and Iran because there was so many aftershocks from the two young Muslim killers in Boston and the blast in West, Texas that coincided with the anniversary of the Branch Davidian shootout and fire.
We did hear about an earthquake in China that has killed about 180 so far.
I spent four wonderful days in Karachi one time and got to drive out of the city to a lake about 100 miles north. I really enjoyed my time there with my friends, the food, and the friendly people. I hope your country continues to be that way.

It's hard to find a baby with an ugly face. But it might be unkind to name a girl, Fairy Face. She may feel she has to live up to her name all her life. Still, the name is unique and seemed to tickle the humor of the poet.

I once spent four wonderful days in Karachi but since I had a very healthy head of hair I didn't considered checking on the good doctor to cure my baldness, alas! ;-)

The reduced gravity of Mars and its unbreathable atmosphere will make Mars a very inhospitable place for some time to come. Trips there will be dangerous and long and staying there will be dangerous and perhaps, because the sun will be so distant, depressing.
