Now this depends on what cat you have sat where you're at. If its a tiger, I'd let it sleep! Or else it could be you she eats! And we don't want that! Yet if she's small, let her play ball..

Zoe sounds like a typical cat. One way to get her complete attention would be to provide her with some catnip or even a live mouse or bird. You would be surprised to find out that she would no longer get bored and fall asleep.

Autumn is my most favorite season. Thanks for writing about it. I like it when autumn is gentle, as in Indian summer. It's only at Halloween that I want autumn to “let 'er rip.”

I have read poems of Vietnamese prisoners held by their own people in the North. These poems are as sparse as the scraps of paper they are written on and a few grains of rice picked from the floor spilled by their laughing tormentors. They focused on food.
I can picture the Jewish prisoners in the camps writing as sparsely from their lack of strength and nourishment to even think grander thoughts.
