Sai Deus (Article) - 11/20/2018 4:51:23 PM
Hi Dear Ron Yes indeed. Rosie is a dear friend from New York days, she was born in Puerto Rico and possessed uncanny abilities and mysterious connections with the spiritual realms. When I first met her I was married to my first husband. She told me something I had never told anyone because it was so personal and private. I used to tease my first husband as we walked together that my shadow was taller than his. It was an intimate, playful thing. Rosie said to me: "you know how you like to tease your husband that your shadow is taller than his...well that just blew me away. There were many more incidents like this during the time I lived in New York. I haven't communicated with her in a long while, maybe I should.

Sai Deus (Article) - 11/20/2018 12:28:36 PM
Quite a dream. But our dreams are from our thoughts, so you probably were thinking about being greedy at some point recently and your dream helped you stored away in a way that you are familiar with, a spiritual way. A New York psychic? Must be expensive. Ron

The Power of God (Article) - 2/5/2018 9:43:23 AM
I love your story. But I suspect that the finch either went into shock upon being attacked so viciously, or pretended to be dead as a defense against attacks like this. Ron

Polestar (Article) - 9/14/2017 6:53:50 AM
A week earlier, we, too, experienced Harvey with a lot less wind and much more flood and came out, like so many of our fellow Houstonians without flooding in our houses. But as you know, both Harvey and Irma did great damage to many and our heart goes out to them for what they have suffered. It is interesting that you found Krishna in the melodious winds. Today we have such powerful forecasting to tell us when danger is coming. Part of the origin of religion is the attributing to a supernatural force the whims of nature. It is easier to credit or blame our gods for why things happen rather than simply the whims of happenstance. Ron

Green Pastures (Article) - 7/5/2017 6:14:29 AM
I think you should have posted the whole thing here, although the beautiful way that it is presented on your website is amazing and beautiful to behold. I encourage everyone to take a look. I think your dream was telling you to sort through some of the important things you had on your mind. Fortunately we can do very dangerous things like leaving airplanes and floating on clouds without personal harm while in a dream. Isn't that wonderful? I have dreams like that all the time find them refreshing even though some are scary. It looks like there's really very very good one and I'm so glad you shared it with us. Ron

Talking Wind Dream (Article) - 2/23/2017 7:57:56 AM
I can no longer stand fans blowing on me, my skin is so sensitive from paralytic strain. But, I still enjoy outdoor breezes that flow over my body when I'm sunning myself to get some vitamin D with as little ultraviolet as possible. I find that tickling breezes on my skin are very refreshing, almost like a hot shower. I can see from your story that you even found much more in the wind that came upon you after shopping. And, hearing your name in it. Hearing voices is one of the symptoms of schizophrenia. I hope that in your case… Sweetie. ;-) Ron

You are a very enchanting woman, a sheer joy to read, and almost certainly a splendid person to know.

I Surrender to You Baba (Article) - 1/26/2017 8:04:01 AM
The majority of Americans have felt that something is amiss when we can select a president that is so divisive and so cruel and careless with his language and strong opinions not based in any kind of fact. We are right to be upset and angry. We have to work together to correct this upset and bring things back to an even keel. We must keep watch during this administration and use every tool necessary to prevent creeping into fascism and dictatorship. And then, turn things around, both two years from now and four years from now during the next elections. Let's make sure that right prevails over hypocrisy and greed. Even those that voted badly this time know what's right. They just didn't act on it properly. But they will learn the lesson. Ron

I Surrender to You Baba (Article) - 1/25/2017 10:37:14 PM
You are no doubt correct about holding steadfast to your trust in virtues. But I feel perfectly justified in venting my outrage against tyranny whenever it rears its ugly head. It offends us all. I refuse to be led to the slaughterhouse without breaking a few rules as well as a few bones. Peace and love to you, dear lady.

The Door to heaven, Vaikunta Dwara (Article) - 1/10/2017 6:42:04 AM
I'm quite unfamiliar with the Hindu religion. None of my Indian friends were Hindus. I attended one Hindu wedding reception, but not the wedding. As I read, I found a certain parallel with all religions. That is that when groups of believers get together and repeat the holy words either through chanting or singing they become more bonded and sometimes, enter trances that allow them to see visions that have been presented to them since childhood. The brain sees what it wants to see. I'm so glad that Hindu visions are quite benign. Ron

A wonderful story of compassion. Yes, so many of our veterans, many of them fathers, are homeless and estranged on this Father's Day only because they served, and, as a result were affected in a terrible way. We need to a lot of them too as best we can, as you have. Ron

Vibhuti Sundara (Article) - 6/19/2015 5:41:35 AM
Dear Ron Sounds like you had an interesting time in your travels through Pakistan, Bangladesh and Thailand. Thanks for taking the time to view the slideshow. The Gopis were cow maidens that were devotees of Lord Krishna. There are many accounts of their rapturous encounters with Sri Krishna and their great love for God. Vibhuti is a powdery white sacred ash. It is a phenomenon that in recent times is attributed to Bhagavan Sathya Sai Baba. He has materialized ash and other items, which I personally witnessed up close when He was alive. This ash has also manifested on Sacred pictures and statues in devotees homes around the world. I guess I should clarify that in the slideshow. Love & Peace Sonya Ki

Vibhuti Sundara (Article) - 6/19/2015 4:50:37 AM
I, too, had wanted to visit India and Nepal. Unfortunately my time and finances did not allow me on my trip that took me to Pakistan (4 days), Bangladesh (4 days) and Thailand (20 days) staying with friends and relatives of friends. One of my friends described in great detail his travels around India visiting temples and learning from the people in them. During my graduate studies, my roommate was from Bombay (Mumbai) and a Zoroastrian with a Christian wife who stayed home during his studies. She came here to the States and they had 3 sons. We are still good friends today. Your slideshow is very well produced and wonderful to watch. I'm not sure what a Gopi is. the slideshow did not enlighten me as to what a vibhuti is either. Ron

Wonderfully related. I remember them plentiful in my childhood, gathered around milkweed and sipping on Canada thistle. We don't have them in my backyard although many fly through Texas. I am glad to see black swallowtail here and the gorgeous giant swallowtail, along with some monarch imitators to ward off predators. Ron

Airborne Awe (Poetry) - 5/17/2026 8:21:47 AM

Blue steeples (Poetry) - 4/18/2026 12:09:56 PM
Yes, the sky is immense and all encompassing. When I put my feet up out on the deck every day with my face out of the sun, I watch the whitebillowing clouds roll by with an occasional metal craft cutting across as though it didn't belong up where the birds fly free… followed by a belated roaring sound that could be mistaken for some monster by the uneducated. But the blue is intense and surreal. Ron

I love mother earth-32, sky totem (Poetry) - 2/4/2026 1:30:10 PM
Yes, the birds know how to stock up when a cold wave sets in. Squirrels in the south, also have to put on a little fat, because unlike their northern counterpart who bury large cashes of food to dig up when the ground is covered with snow, they apparently don't do that. Love how you have birds aplenty. Ron

I love Mother Earth - 17, Jewels on Her ears (Poetry) - 12/24/2024 2:56:26 PM
As a child I remember wandering through the pastures to the woods. They were filled with Monarch butterflies and milkweed everywhere which we loved to whack with whatever stick we were carrying to see the white milk ooze out. We thought that milkweed and monarchs would live forever in those fertile pastures along with Canadian thistle and other fun things like puff balls we would stomp on. I never put pesticides on my lawn and now I leave my entire backyard side yard grow in the spring until about May before I cut it down because so many creatures depend upon those so-called weeds for their existence. Ron

I love Mother Earth - 17, Jewels on Her ears (Poetry) - 12/24/2024 1:29:21 PM

Poems by the Sea-10 (Poetry) - 11/17/2024 8:23:26 PM
Thank you dear poets for taking the time To comment on the poem, I truly appreciate it. Dear Ron, Yes, the seashore is indeed a timeless place. Ideal for relaxation and inspiration. I'm glad you enjoyed the poem. Dear John N. Yes, there's only One. There's only Oneness. One giant collective Self. Dear John D. Yes, Florida is delightful, and the ocean is a healing balm. Truly lifts the spirit. Wonderful to know that you and your wife lived here. The bird life In Florida is different from New York where I was raised. It always happily surprises me when I see a flock of Ibis sauntering across an ordinary road. But I do miss the mountains too and it's heady elevations. I am glad you enjoyed my poem.

Poems by the Sea-10 (Poetry) - 11/13/2024 7:38:16 PM
Wonderful poetry! My wife and I have lived in Florida for most of our adult lives. The beach has always been close by, less than an hour by car. Sandpipers and pelicans are among our favorite birds. I love catching them on camera, and they always provide fantastic natural entertainment. The sounds and smells of the sea and sand are the best therapy, much better than any gym or specialist office. Our next two vacations involve ocean voyages. What could be better? The mountains are lovely, but the mountains do not move. I rest my case. Amen!

Poems by the Sea-10 (Poetry) - 11/13/2024 12:39:49 PM
that what becomes the bird is the one that has the sky turn to the sea.. and never say goodby...details are everything in this but perhaps a glass of wine to enhance thine feet our wine like....

Thank you dear Ron We are hunkered down on the East Coast of Florida, obeying all instruction from the officials. Holding on to the Divine One. Hopefully all will be well. Thank you for caring, Sonya Ki

Flowers in the storm (Poetry) - 10/8/2024 2:10:52 PM
In the old days, the butterflies knew it was coming before humans. But now we have ways of tracking that scare us, sometimes into model behavior like crowding the roadways until everyone is stuck and going nowhere with no water and no gasoline. I hope you are prepared and staying safe. This is a killer storm for those that do not heed the warnings by officials. Ron

Hridaya-10 (Poetry) - 10/1/2024 12:07:54 PM

Sundareshwar (Poetry) - 9/21/2024 1:09:12 PM
Soon, I hope. Sounds like it would be a Rhapsody of sensation. Ron

Hridaya-9 (Poetry) - 9/19/2024 10:44:06 PM
God is love, and God is light. Your poem deserves to be read more than once. Then, after the third or fourth time, the words come alive! Well done!

Azure breath-14 (Poetry) - 9/16/2024 12:13:47 PM
Hopefully it will happen from a sea of despair to a life beyond compare. Ron

Poems by the Sea-8 (Poetry) - 9/14/2024 11:17:15 AM
What a lovely description of enjoyment of the beach and sea. From my own experience I was right there with you on every word. Even though I rarely get there anymore. Ron

Fond Farewell (Poetry) - 9/13/2024 7:03:27 PM
Hi Dear Ron Crepe Myrtle is a beautiful addition to the garden. When I lived in Arkansas I had a very pretty pink one. Flowers always lift the spirit So that it can soar. Have a glorious evening. Sonya ki

Fond Farewell (Poetry) - 9/10/2024 11:24:21 AM
My 40-year-old dual white and purple crêpe myrtle may be on its last legs. But the one on the front of the house, finally out of the shade of huge trees, is blooming more gloriously than ever. Two rosebushes in the front of the house, twice this year with ample rain, bloomed gloriously until they grew long and leggy with no blooms. I asked her to cut them back and we will see if they are reborn this winter. Ron

Hridaya-7 (Poetry) - 9/3/2024 8:01:37 AM
When we are down in our deepest pits, a ray of sunlight is always welcome. Ron

Hridaya-6 (Poetry) - 8/27/2024 8:28:06 AM
Your poem contains both beautiful and horrific images (like comets crashing into the sea). It makes me wonder who this man in orange tunic with teased hair is to apparently have so much power over a bunch of old Indian men? Why am I not seeing any women? Young people? A very strange religious practice, if you ask me. All of my Indian friends of Hindu, Christian and Zoroastrian heritage, have left their religion behind when they came to the United States. Ron

Hridaya-5 (Poetry) - 8/22/2024 1:01:14 PM
Not only ecstatic, but the ending appears to be erotic. Ron

Hridaya-4 (Poetry) - 8/19/2024 12:26:57 PM
Sure made me melt. Ron

Hridaya-3 (Poetry) - 8/18/2024 8:29:44 PM
Good evening dear Ron Glad you enjoyed the poem. Sending you a starlight chalice Overflowing Sonya Ki

Hridaya-3 (Poetry) - 8/10/2024 9:03:40 AM
Vivid images passionately written. Ron

I love Mother Earth-13 (Poetry) - 8/6/2024 8:04:23 AM
I love the heat and humidity, but the direct sun bothers me. Why I would seek the shelter of a wooded area down near the swampy wetlands for a late afternoon sojourn contemplating natural poetry. But the Turkey Creek Library sounds like a wonderful place to go and enjoy the ambience of a wooded wetland while inside with AC and lots to read and contemplate as you draft your poems to the sound of a gurgling stream. Ron

Cuppa Love (Poetry) - 7/17/2024 8:42:33 AM
Your cuppa love flowith over. Ron

Cuppa Love (Poetry) - 7/17/2024 5:03:55 AM

I love Mother Earth-12 (Poetry) - 7/15/2024 11:48:58 AM
You made me sea sick with longing reading your poem. Very romantic, showing your love. Ron

Sweet Rain (Poetry) - 7/10/2024 12:25:05 PM
Without rain we would be nothing… A desert planet with foul seas. Ron

Sweet Rain (Poetry) - 7/9/2024 11:29:07 PM
I see that our Lord Jesus is in your poem. Jesus Christ is the God who makes it rain. Amen X 110!

Hridaya-2 (Poetry) - 7/5/2024 12:28:30 PM
Surely good enough to eat. Ron

Ecstasy-3 (Poetry) - 6/22/2024 9:03:17 AM
To be conscience, inquisitive and exploring is who we are… Overcoming our agony and knowing what ecstasy is. If only to write beautiful poetry before we leave our fragile bodies to be reused by the universe for whatever the universe wants. Well thought and written considering the greater scheme of things. Ron

Ecstasy-2 (Poetry) - 6/21/2024 5:09:29 PM
Dear Ron Thank you. Stay cool and safe in these Extreme temps and monsoon like weather. Peace and Love Sonya Ki

Ecstasy-2 (Poetry) - 6/12/2024 8:53:57 AM
Better than any thing else out there. Ron

Laughter of rain (Poetry) - 6/11/2024 7:12:04 PM
Hi Dear Ron (Chuckle) I'll have to play that one haven't heard it in a long time. David and I were trying to think of different rain songs to sing in the rain Lol Sonya Ki

Laughter of rain (Poetry) - 6/11/2024 2:28:38 PM
Reminds me of Creedence Clearwater Revival… "Have you ever seen the rain… Comin' down a sunny day?"

Rain song (Poetry) - 6/9/2024 1:00:35 PM
Dear Ron Thank you for your insightful, encouraging comments. Yes, there are drought conditions here in Florida. The heat is almost unbearable. We can only walk during morning or evening hours. It's moments like these that remind us of the extraordinary importance of our Mother Nature. Sending you a silvery shower of precious raindrops Peace and Love Sonya Ki

Rain song (Poetry) - 6/9/2024 12:31:39 PM
Yes, rain can be wonderful at times… Especially when there is drought. Your poem expresses your joy beautifully. Ron

Gopi tears (Poetry) - 5/27/2024 2:07:12 PM
Your poetry sings in this one honoring Sai Krishna. Ron

I hear the conch at the seashore (Poetry) - 5/16/2024 11:59:14 AM
I hear the blood rushing to my brain magnified by the conch by the seashore. I am not held down by anything but gravity, thank goodness keeping me firmly on the earth as it spins at tremendous speed. Not sure if the stars have complexion or eternity has a name, but your words are highly entertaining in what they make the mind think of while reading. Ron

Luminous Portal (Poetry) - 5/8/2024 9:01:59 AM
As I read your poem I thought of the 23rd Psalm. And then you repeated it to confirm my thoughts. Ron

Zenana (Poetry) - 5/5/2024 11:52:09 AM
A truly lovely way to relax and praise. However I find the nose ring a bit unnecessary and possibly, cruel if used like it is with a bull, for control. Ron

The Beautiful One-2 (Poetry) - 4/29/2024 2:23:00 PM
Dear Ron The path of Divine Love opens the eyes of the heart. This is indeed a magical enchanting universe. I am glad you enjoyed the poem. Have a wonderful, beautiful evening. Sonya Ki

The Beautiful One-2 (Poetry) - 4/29/2024 1:13:20 PM
What a magical world you have written about! Twin sons are the most prevalent in the universe. What it would be like to be there and see what the poet's eyes see. Ron

Maha Kaleshwarya (Poetry) - 4/23/2024 12:25:12 PM
My mind built imagery from your words but I couldn't see the "starlit jivi." Ron

Meditation Palace-2 (Poetry) - 4/13/2024 9:39:14 AM
Chanting certainly rids our brain of many thoughts that may be conflicting and provides a kind of white noise that can be peaceful and relaxing. But over time, chanting the same phrase may occupy too much of the brain's and interfere with logical thought rather than improve it. Ron

Om Flag (Poetry) - 4/11/2024 5:32:30 PM
Perhaps... The Heart

Om Flag (Poetry) - 4/2/2024 7:48:12 AM
I like how you can, leave "our tiny, earthbound planet far behind." The power of the mind. Ron

A thousand Koti Pranams (Poetry) - 3/12/2024 10:53:33 AM
The universe is certainly, humbling to contemplate. But a very dangerous place of very violent destruction and rebuilding. We have a very wonderful nest. We must keep it clean and productive for future generations to enjoy. Ron

The Awakened Heart (Poetry) - 3/7/2024 8:11:31 PM
Yes, dear Ron The world is a mixed bag of joy and sorrow, mostly suffering. The key which the monk has grasped is that The world with all its enticements, beauty, danger etc is impermanent, is ephemeral, is evanescent like a pipe dream. And The only absolute realness is the immense Cosmic Self which encompasses all of us. Realizing we are that is our ultimate journey. Sending you a chalice of peace and sweet dreams

Stars bloom on my lips (Poetry) - 3/7/2024 7:56:52 PM
Beautiful Poets Thank you for your gracious comments. I'm so glad you enjoyed the poem. Sending you all Starry dreams and well wishes ❤️

The Awakened Heart (Poetry) - 3/7/2024 1:16:54 PM
I am too enamored with this wonderful world with all the pleasures and dangers that it poses to be a monk. Why anyone would give up what the world offers for an ascetic life of depriving oneself of everything except worship to something or someone with no real offer except empty promises with no proof. But there are those who are willing to go through what it takes to become one with their God of choice. Suffering in the hope of being better in the next life. Ron

Stars bloom on my lips (Poetry) - 3/1/2024 8:00:37 AM
An endless tale of love told with grace and style and poetic perfection.

Stars bloom on my lips (Poetry) - 2/26/2024 11:09:51 AM

Stars bloom on my lips (Poetry) - 2/25/2024 9:40:15 PM

Dear Ron It certainly increases feelings of bliss in me Namaste Sonya Ki

Precious gems along the mountain path (Poetry) - 2/19/2024 11:26:29 AM
I turned it down low, and the music was, relaxing. But I never found music to be any help while I was working or even relaxing. I prefer silence where I can hear my thinking. Ron

Ash on my forehead (Poetry) - 2/18/2024 8:29:51 PM
Dear Ron There's more to us than this body, these fleeting moments. Love is forever. Dear Edward Thank you for your encouraging remarks. I'm so glad you enjoyed the poem. I love writing poetry. Sending you both peaceful smiles Sonya Ki

I'll blow the ash from your eyes (Poetry) - 2/17/2024 8:38:49 AM
A perfect description of reincarnation. It would be wonderful to return as another person in another place. I prefer living on the words written. Yesterday I read a love poem written by a Samarian king circa 2000 BC. He is therefore immortalized of all that read him, like me, 4000 years later. Let us hope that 4000 years from now people will be reading your poetry and acknowledging you. One thing is for sure, AI is reading our poetry now. What they will do with it, is beyond me. But perhaps they will create other lives for us, like some unknown writer became William Shakespeare through myth and interpretation. Ron

Ash on my forehead (Poetry) - 2/16/2024 11:31:26 AM
Your word skills are incredible. Your second stanza is filled with love and promise. I am in awe of your talent.

Ash on my forehead (Poetry) - 2/15/2024 11:41:11 AM
We are all ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Ron

I can imagine. Ron

I Love Mother Earth--10 (Poetry) - 1/18/2024 8:58:37 AM
What a wonderful poem about a wonderful outing in the rain soaked streets. Crosby Stills and Nash were perhaps the best harmonizers of their time and songs like, The Marrakesh Express, still resonate today. Making beautiful what some would call a bad day. I love it and our earth, too. Ron

O The Radiance! (Poetry) - 1/15/2024 12:17:05 PM
Yes, we are the product of the cosmos and contain everything from the beginning in our essence. Perhaps we don't see it unless we look deeply into someone's eyes. Ron

O The Radiance! (Poetry) - 1/14/2024 3:14:16 AM
Ah, I drank your words as lovingly as your cup of red tea my dear, precious you are, have a blessed day Sonya :)

Red Tripundra-21 (Poetry) - 12/31/2023 9:13:04 AM

You already are. Ron

Ant Prayer (Poetry) - 8/27/2023 11:13:19 AM
That ant may be following a trail left by others who have come into your house for food, water or something else. Or the and may really be lost and starve to death before finding the trail that will lead him/her back to the queen ant, food and others. Ron

Red Tripundra-18 (Poetry) - 6/11/2023 9:11:30 AM
I love the lines: "… massive mountains shake their shaggy white manes in a stormy mood." But to wait for the promised one there would be to freeze. I would prefer you stayed in the low lands and waited for him to melt above and refresh your holy water from his stream. Ron

Temple in the stars (Poetry) - 5/6/2023 1:00:51 PM
Thank you Dear Ron, for your kind comments and understanding. Sending you Galactic Smiles and Well wishes.

Temple in the stars (Poetry) - 5/6/2023 9:45:12 AM
A very insightful poem verifying your need for someone or something to make order of chaos. Like all of your poems, honoring the gurus of order. Ron

Out of a Lotus Flower (Poetry) - 5/3/2023 8:20:01 AM
Your words speak of the beauty of lotus as a metaphor for being enchanted. My guide showed me a single pathetic lotus blossom growing in a concrete pond about 3 x 10' in front of the Egyptian Museum. I assume the reason the lotus was in such bad shape was because it was January and the temperature at night dropped down sometimes to near freezing. With the new museum now open, I certainly hope the lotuses there will be more beautiful all year round. Ron

I heard the Om (Poetry) - 4/29/2023 3:23:04 PM

I heard the Om (Poetry) - 4/29/2023 9:49:53 AM

The Gazing stars spoke to me-1 (Poetry) - 4/27/2023 9:52:47 AM
Is "he" Big Brother? I doubt it. But it's nice to believe that there is someone that knows all about us, even if there's no one that knows about us. Ron

Red Tripundra-16 (Poetry) - 4/23/2023 10:01:19 AM
I watched the video with interest. Your poem applauds the technique used by the guru. In almost all religions, repetition and chanting is used to provide a rather meditative mood that helps one relieve stress in life. Chanting can put people in hypnotic trances that they find quite refreshing and beautiful in their difficult lives. I do not recommend anyone getting swept up in cults like this, regardless of how wonderful they may seem. At the heart of almost every religion in the world are money grabbing fakirs. Ron

Poems on the High Seas-8 (Poetry) - 3/28/2023 7:20:08 PM

Whispers of Hari-19 (Poetry) - 3/9/2023 10:30:52 AM
That's a very bright reflection. Inspiring you to write from his side rather than here on little old earth. Ron

The Evening sky sings His name (Poetry) - 2/28/2023 8:55:09 AM
I find nose rings and other rings to be an offense to the lovely body of those who wear them. Generally nose rings originated from men dominating their women and making them wear nose rings like their cattle. But if you wish to be controlled by your "evening star," so be it. Ron

Gentle thunder in His eyes (Poetry) - 2/27/2023 11:39:42 AM
About as ecstatic as one can get. Ron
