This is a great, inspirational book. It's written from the heart, the soul bared for all to see. Readers who've been through similar things will find some comfort in the words that fill the pages of the wonderful book. And they will be inspired as well. This book is definitely worth reading, so if you haven't gotten a copy of it yet, what are you waiting for? It's a must-read for all!

Wow! This was very interesting and something that people can relate to. I am glad you are sharing a part of your self in this story.
I've been in a situation where I wanted a guy to notice me as more than just a friend but it never happened. There were moments when I wanted to tell a guy how I felt but was afraid to say anything. And I've certainly felt alone on more than one occasion.
Not sure if it was from previous stories of yours I read but I thought that the main character and Bill were together as more than friends... Am I mistaken here?

I have a hard time understanding why a person would want to treat their own body that way. It must be very hard to be close to someone with those kinds of behavior. Bringing it to our attention does not solve the problem. I'm not sure what does.

Some people strive to be as thin as ever and gets them nowhere... doesn't bring them happiness, or success. Only hurts them in more ways than one. It's ok to not be super thin. What matters is being comfortable in your own skin and with you who are. I think true beauty comes from the inside not from the outside. And that's the way it should be. Sadly that is not always the case because people judge.

Great lyric/song. Brings up an important issue and also talks about helping others that are hurt or are hurting themselves. Not always easy to do because the person may reject the help or it may make things worse... Thanks for sharing and shedding light on something very important in today's society.

This poem has a song-like quality. I'd actually classify it as a song... The last four lines can very well be the chorus. The first four lines verse 1, the next four lines verse 2, and four lines after that can be the bridge...
