I can't say that my experience is of any comparison since my time spent is less then that of another. I can however say that even with time ticking and observing only what I've witnessed. Time does seem to pass by quickly and I can only expect it to go faster as they go by. For other reasons I can relate to them but only minor ones like being a fool and a loner. Sometimes you only have yourself to keep you company and you have to entertain yourself.

Hi Lois. I think it's like that because we are alone and have lost our soul mate. Many have similar feelings. I always feel better after I write my feelings down. Some how I manage to keep quite busy with various projects. Time goes by quickly...M

I am happy that you are still able to travel, Loius. I too enjoy travelling, but for a variety of reasons cannot do anywhere near a much as I'd like, but traelling is a lot of fun`or what you learn as well as what you see.
Havenyou considered visiting New England?? Small town New Englandm is enchanting, as is the Maine coast.

It's never too late. A friend of mine in her 80s just got married again, very happily, for the third time after she outlived her first two husbands. But you have to work on yourself first and stop looking outward for others to solve your problems. Once you ignore them and find a happy place for yourself, you'll be surprised how true friends will come around.

I loved this writ! It took me back to the days when I lived in Vermont and the coming of fall. I loved to see the lovely autumn leaves and enjoyed the cool nights. We used to have a small bonfire when we sat out side in the evenings. Those were the good old days!.....M
