HI Isabelle, I had a blogger critique my first book and he was rather critical. He mentioned in one part that he couldn't identify with the characters and when I commented that he must not have had their experiences, he got all in my face (not literally) for having a push at his background.
I think if the comments are constructive, then yes, take them on board. I have come to the conclusion that not everyone is going to like what I write so I go on from there.
