Rich Pfeiffer’s book Breathing Together: A Guide to Integral Relationships is a storehouse of information. Pfeiffer has written a detailed book about the Integral Psychotherapy model which applies its founder’s, Ken Wilber, central ideas, interventions, and meta-orientation to couples counseling work.
There is so so much information in this book; it is a classic resource for psychotherapists and mental health professionals and the book is also so richly educating for anyone who wants to thrive in relationship and wants a guide on how to do so.
The author integrates many paradigms into an organized methodology pulling together relationship stages, the AGAL framework, self-preservation to self-immanence states, competencies for integral therapy, shadow work, brain development, hierarchies of need, and relationship illustrations, and more along with graphs and images that make the book very readable and understandable.
I really and truly appreciate how the book is organized and that it is so thorough in presenting so many different paradigms in a systematic way. I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It is a treasure trove and a gold mine of wisdom and information.

This book sounds very interesting to me. I think I should get it soon. Maybe it will help me open my eyes and finally figure out the difference between true love and addiction.

This one sounds like a must for my library. If I didn't hike so much, I'd be in real trouble. I don't eat to live, I certainly 'live to eat'!
