How I Avoided Dialysis (Book) - 6/18/2014 3:00:30 PM
I am a registered nurse, vegetarian, and totally interested in how foods impact the body for healing or hurting. Much of what we eat in the U.S. is hurtful to our bodies, not to mention vaccine conspiracies that have greatly damaged our children. Pharmaceutical companies kill thousands of people and are never brought to task for this. Ex. Avandia, which grossed 2.2 BILLION the first year it was on the market in 2004, and has a high fatality rate. It is still out there making money and killing. We start out with healthy bodies, and then they are confronted with extremely harmful ingredients that kill kidneys, etc. Ms. Hawkins is on to something really good here. I praise her audacity and tenacious efforts to keep her body well. Hemodialysis is pretty much a stop-gap to death, because with each event, these patients place their lives on the line. They are heroes! We need more people like Ms. Hawkins who have the courage to take their health in their hands and tell these script writing doctors to shuvit!

Well said Mercedes. This poem has so many good points. Our kids are ours for life but they only come close when there is difficulty strife. It's so sad to see them ignore mom and dad. It's as if raising them 20 years of your life was a favor they let you preform. Now that can truly drive one mad!

Agree with Sandie Angel. Each generation learn from the other. The old pass the torch of knowledge they have learned in the present life and the young come in with knowledge from ancestors passed on to them through genes

Each generation has to survive on its own. The legacy we leave our children should weigh on our hearts because we have wasted so much.

People always have to think about the future of their children, not just themselves. See the present as how their children's lives would be in the future.
Parents do not ceased to being parents when their child moves away, they should be in their lives until the parents die. There is always a bond between parents and child to care for one another. Whatever the olds can learn from the youngs, and whatever the youngs can learn from the olds is called bonding in life, each feeding th other the knowledge they have gained in life. You'll be surprised how much the youngsters know the things that you don't know. Their wisdom speaks for themselves.
