Amen, Sister! He gives joy in the presence of suffering, for joy and happiness are not the same. That deep inner joy that Jesus gives brings hope and encouragement to go on, with assurance that our sufferings are never wasted. Someday we will understand, but until then we can still rejoice in the constant love He gives.
