You are so right! It is the dissenter, not the conformer, who accounts for most of the changes we call progress. But don't take on the world too soon. Change starts with each of us and works outward to the world. Nice going. Don't let the fire go out! Ed

Welcome to AD, Mitzee. You're off to a good start. I enjoyed the stark realism of your poem. The language is clean and you leave little doubt about thoughts. May I suggest that you express your feelings more by using your descriptive talent--why you are writing, the source of your inspiration, how it makes you feel, etc. You have a future as a writer of some renown.
