Agreed all, "almost" perfect is just fine with me. It's actually more than fine....it's a blessing to be able to recognize that there really is no reason suspect what feels good and what is in essence almost perfect!

Yes, infatuation and lover like that. Which comes first and which lasts? You had my mind tumbling through all the emotions connected with loved first sight whether consummated or not. Almost perfect, but not quite.

Rejoicing in the feel of ourselves is one of the most human things we do. Of course the province of self-celebration is the province of youth. Sometimes the hour tolls our particular emotion. This is a spur of the moment type of poem with some long term problems chewing around the edges. Feeling bruised and bloody from unvoiced emotions you express them with a series of odd and disturbing images. I did things like this years ago. Back when I thought people cared. The best value for writing styles like this is the ability to voice such startling images, which only strike a chord if the reader has some empathy or comes from a similar state of angst. I do like the images of skys shaking and the heavens roaring figuatively. Bob
