Yes, I am over it...but this was one of the first pieces written after that very painful breakup. She didn't try to change me...she just didn't try...she fell out of love.

Since this was written in 2010, I hope you have gotten over the pain and moved on. “She stopped trying…” Is a telling line. The idea that she should have “try” to love you leads me to believe that you had an unequal relationship where she “tried” to change you, but couldn't. It's okay, because adults have a hard time seeing that they need to change even when they really need to.
