That one beats the excuse that one of my students gave me about missing the final she was deathly afraid of. “A family member died.”
After she took the makeup test (a completely different test because my students routinely copied the test for latecomers like that and for future semesters) and did rather poorly on it, she confessed. “It was my dog.”
All the capitalization is a distinct distraction trying to read what you wrote. No one I know of says, “Pls."

Like a mighty river, civilization is inexorably encroaching on every tribal culture in the world. With the Internet, the process is getting faster, and, perhaps in this century, indigenous cultures will be nothing more than a museum artifacts to be admired for their cultural idiosyncrasies, but not as a way of life.
A very well written and interesting piece, although I did not fully understand everything.
