Ron, thanks for the comments. There are so many sites similar to Authors Den and keeping track of what their nomenclature is can be daunting. I first posted the article in the "Story" section in response to an email from the site. Then I questioned whether that was the right place for it or not and put it into the "News" section.
Also, I did not post an excerpt since Amazon.com has a lengthy sample in their "Look Inside the Book" feature, not only for this first in the eight-book series but for all the rest of the titles as well...each linked from the URL in the article.
I still enjoy following NASCAR, but some of the newer tracks are just boring! I still enjoy Talladega, Daytona, and Bristol. I, too, like Matt Kenseth as well as some of the other younger drivers who exhibit the same tenacity we tried to instill in our main characters in the Rolling Thunder series.

Keith,
I just opened your story in the Story section. I read as many stories there as I can and comment on them. However, all I found was promotional material for your series. No story. You could have at least provided a chapter so that I could see how you write and see whether or not your book is worth reading. Use the Book section or News section to promote your books.
My brother and I were fortunate to be able to buy a 1935 Ford three window coupe with a Cadillac engine for $100 many years ago. We went to stock car races as a kid, and I have continued to be interested in stock car racing, while my brother has turned touring and sports cars. I am currently watching Matt Kenseth but enjoy all the drivers and their effort to excel at driving.
