This poem is rather confessional on my part. I have led a crazy path to what I should be doing professionally. I am a multi-passionate person that used to struggle so much with nailing down what to devote 100% of my energy to.
I wrote this poem well over a year ago, and now I am more rooted and convicted on what to do professionally (being a writer) and do not second-guess myself as much. I finally feel that I have more answers than questions.

Full of feeling, your poem seems to express that in spite of positive thoughts, negative thoughts always seem to slow you down. By merely writing these thoughts down you are overcoming your fear and will find your, “elusive success,” in time.
