Your story is certainly well written, but crime stories are not of much interest to me unless they are true.
The lack of paragraphs makes it difficult to read. The editor is probably doing that because you are pasting a Microsoft Word document with a lot of formatting. The way to make it improve, is to do a special paste from your browser. I have Safari and use "Paste And Match Style."
