A wonderful tribute to youth taking responsibility. I recall one of my classmates who had lost his father in World War II. He was very resourceful and determined in everything. He is now a retired surgeon.

Sometimes things happens within a family, and then one has to step up to the plate. Unfortunately, there is no set limit on the minimum age for the responsibilities. This happens to many all the time.
