You have had quite a few challenges in your short life. Challenges always make us stronger and sometimes, a lot smarter. I'm so glad you're doing well in school, because that will be where you excel in the future. I don't like all of the problems you face, and wish there was one medicine or one surgery that could correct them all, but you have weathered them in good humor and that I admire.
In 1982, my office mate whose daughter was 14, I think had a premature girl baby weighing 2 1/2 pounds. As far as I know, she is grown and in good health. I also have a friend whose son was born with his heart upside down and had to be operated on when he was five. He was only supposed to live into his teens, but he recently got married over 40 years old. The doctors don't know everything, but it appears that you had a lot of doctoring that has helped you survive as long as you have. Likewise, surgery on my lung saved me last year from pneumonia and certain death.

That is the most beautiful expression of beauty and young love I have ever heard, Aaron! You surely have a romantic's heart.. and the special grace the LORD Jesus has bestowed upon you is very evident!
One of my own grandson's has Asperger's Syndrome, too.. now both of you can be my heroes!
Just remember...NOTHING is impossible with GOD, honey, and He truly does have a plan for hope and a future for you! [Jeremiah 29:11] So keep rejoicing in all you do.. and Happy, Happy 18th Birthday, Aaron. You are a handsome and gifted young man. GOD Bless You Always!

This is a beautiful poem Aaron! I love how you write from your heart and your words are very touching and thought provoking. Everything happens in life for a reason. Take all your experiences, the good and the bad and learn from them. I look forward to reading many more of your blogs!!
