That was a terrible experience. You're lucky to be alive. I too, wonder what happened to the girl. I would keep an eye on that place and direct the police there any time you see anyone. If you could recognize anyone of those guys, you might put them in jail.

The loss of your best friend was cruel, but life in general is not. Perhaps by writing about what happened will ease your mind and allow you to move into the life you were meant to lead. We all die in the due course of time. We do not choose when we die. We cannot waste our lives dwelling on something we have no control over. Only good things we have control over, and foremost of these is a willingness to accept what happened and move on.
If you're going to publish in English, please find someone who is very good at English to help you with editing your work before publishing.

It is sad to hear of the problems with education in Nigeria. The United States is also having problems with education, the lowering of standards, and the cost of higher education.
From my experience with students that came for a higher education, many of them quite poor, from Nigeria, they excelled for 2 reasons. First, they had a good underpinning of education from the British system and second they tried very hard to succeed, often through several disciplines.
It is up to you and the other young people of Nigeria to stand up to the church and to the corrupt government officials and change things for the better in higher education in your country. Good luck and keep writing. Awareness is power to the people.
