But in the movies and on TV, there are always at least two cars and/or motorcycles that are hot on your tail as soon as you get in the car with your partner. A wild chase ensues where a lot of cars get crashed and people get hurt or killed but nobody accounts for it. These days in action thrillers, nobody gets away scot-free. ;-)

At first, I thought you were writing a poem/story. But I see that it is just double-spaced with brief descriptive sentences. Your poetry carries over with phrases like, "his dark blue gaze falls on me."
I like the opening very well, but I think it would be nice if you could post the whole short story that one time. Having it "be continued," reminds me of when I had to dig to back of magazines to try to find the rest of the story. Have no fear. Your story is very intriguing so far.

That is a fine interview and promotional piece. I did find the last question and answer too repetitive for me, but I suppose you were following some rule to have the last paragraph be a summary of the entire article. You are indeed fortunate to have Edgar Rider do this interview with you.
While I understand that many readers may be eager to grab up the "latest book out" like some shiny new appliance, hence your concern about prepublication publicity. But a book is not like a movie that appears on the screen and gets most of its revenue from that first week of being in the theaters. A good book should attract readers much longer, especially if it has good reviews. In fact, the Internet gives our books a very long shelf life.
I'm not much for keeping up with the Joneses, so I pass on most of the early opportunities to be the first to read, use or otherwise be the first on the block to have had a great experience.

All kinds of things can go down in paradise. But of all things tropical, hurricanes are the worst. Fortunately, modern hotels in hurricane prone shores are built to withstand winds and water surges that homes cannot. They are usually back in operation shortly after the cleanup from around their grounds is completed.
The tropics are better prepared for a new round of storms than we can understand. But your poem could be a metaphor for the calm life being disrupted by a stormy relationship.

That certainly is a dramatic photo or photoshopped image! Being scientifically inclined I would say that the sun is hiding behind the earth's shadow rather than the moon. But poets can bend science a lot according to their wish for wooing too swoon over the moon.

I agree, wholeheartedly. Impatiens love it here in spring and fall. They are one of the most beautiful flowers in creation. Thanks to the hard work and fast acting pharmaceutical companies, the amazing Coronavirus of 2020-21 will not run its course and kill 300 million people, but more likely only a few million worldwide before it is eradicated by vaccination.

I have been known to cry when I was happy. But as a man, it's hard to make me cry. It takes real tragedy for that to happen. If crying isn't spontaneous, it is suspect.
