This is a terrific book for new blackjack players. The author explains all aspects of the game from card values and how to play hands, to double downs, splits and taking insurance. Along the way there is a continuing narrative about the author's own experiences as a beginning player.
As the lessons grow to playing Basic Strategy and even card counting, the narrative turns to playing the game professionally and how to avoid being detected as a professional. More than 200 pages - plenty ot offer and well worth the read!
