My Morning Ride (Short Story) - 9/18/2015 5:33:59 AM
I love your keen observation and your way of writing it. And I also agree with Eva that deep thinking while driving is a distraction that can be very dangerous. Keep writing until you are extracted from your muse by the jaws of death. ;-) Ron

Just messin' with ya, though 'tis true: The road is a dangerous place for you to engage in deep contemplation. You not only jeopardize your own life, but those of others. Perhaps that is why you alluded to needing the jaws-of-life to extract you from your morning ride. At any rate, you are an astute observer with a writer's ability to capture the sensory images and details stored in your mind's eye.

Point Fermin (Short Story) - 4/10/2015 9:59:26 AM
It looks like you lived in a melting pot of creativity. During that period, in 1967, I spent a night in a cheap motel in Venice. Other than that I was in Northern Cal and either traveling the state's sights are going up to the City and enjoying the ambience… Or at least as much ambience as an engineering student can. Ron

Growing Old (Short Story) - 4/5/2015 4:42:04 AM
Good one, Gil. Maybe what is hardest to handle is that my (and your) mind has a much younger vision. One trick I use is to keep my 15 year old truck looking brand new. Then, whenever I look out into the driveway, it is 2000CE all over again. Thanks for the smiles.

Growing Old (Short Story) - 3/30/2015 6:17:55 AM
If your butt would be "dusting the hardwood floors," I can't imagine was your balls would be doing. ;-) While I had a good laugh reading about your plight, the last couple of years have been a reminder that I will be soon embarking on this stage of my childhood. I guess it's a rite of passage that we all have to endure unless we are smart and cut it off early with a heart attack or something like that. Ron

Autumn Leaves (Poetry) - 10/16/2015 7:29:31 AM
Fall is one of my favorite seasons, though I love them all. Your poem is a call to get out and enjoy the good weather and beautiful scenery before it's gone. Certainly, a breath of fresh air. Ron

My Brother of The Blue (Poetry) - 5/3/2015 6:39:29 PM
Such wonderful memories captured in your words Gil.

My Brother of The Blue (Poetry) - 4/4/2015 4:50:21 PM
Can feel the terrible longing and yearning in your narrative. Life is but a veil. Don't worry you will see him again Peter

My Brother of The Blue (Poetry) - 4/4/2015 9:26:31 AM
Reads like an idyllic life. Creating images from experience on the sea. Many colors to define on the canvas for all to see. Ron

Till The End of Time (Poetry) - 3/31/2015 7:53:45 AM
Your words reveal a grateful soul at peace with yourself and with the universe. How can anyone ask for more?

Till The End of Time (Poetry) - 3/30/2015 5:59:00 PM
very lovely....

Nicely done, Gil. You brought some vivid images to me with your wordplay.
