I have to admit that I watched and listened to your poem before I read it. Wow! The poem stands on its own as a powerful statement as to what it must feel like to be a woman in a "man's" world. But watching you read it added so much more, especially for me as a man. Fantastic.

Beautiful poem about the sorrow and loss of innocence we feel when we grow up. The rhythm is wonderful. The word choice emotional. The ending superb.

I think this is fine poetry; it awakens the senses, the emotions and one "gets" the meaning intended. I think you are missing the word "for" in the first verse of the fourth stanza. The essence of womanhood, personified in a poem. Gritty and real.
Yesterday, a young couple was on the way to the hospital where she would be giving birth. She couldn't wait, so, while her husband drove and recorded it with his camera, she had the baby in the car along the way. Both mother and baby were none the worse for wear.
