I agree that the most successful leaders empower their subordinates to achieve similar goals so that everyone works for the same objectives. However, as I stated in an earlier article today, right here in the articles section about training, I abhor training in anything other than psycho motor conditioning, sports and other physical skills. Training amounts to nothing more than indoctrination. The other overused term is accountability. Every individual develops at a different rate and should only be accountable for what they contribute to the whole and not measured by some idiotic numbers required by jamming round pegs in square holes.
