An interesting and informative article in the stories section. Congratulations on your resolution of who did it so many years after, and a revelation that sexual predators and serial killers were probably common during the growth of America, but often swept under the rug by socially conscious leading citizens. And, unfortunately, Blacks, Native Americans, and newly arrived immigrants were often used as scapegoats for the real killers and abusers. Dark history that needs to be revealed instead of the fairytale histories that are in our school history books.
I think a second run through to remove some of the errors in the posting would be in order.

It took a writer connected to one of the serial murder victims to root out justice. An interesting article for the background of Forschner's novel.
