Great Story. I started reading and was drawn into Jack's world. What more can a writer ask for than to entertain a reader from the beginning to the end- well done.

Biblical stories are not my liking. And, I guess that Jack was in the same way having drifted off into nowhere land until he was once again awakened to reality faced with his parents proselytizing… Now that's a horror story!
Some minor glitches that a good editing would fix. And two spellos that are my pet peeves… sight and lose… Not site and loose.

Since Jack has been walking in the darkness for quite some time, I think he has succumbed to it regardless of the incident.
