I do recall when all raptors like eagles were fair game for all hunters who thought that they took valuable game animals and farmers' domesticated animals. And then there was the widespread use of DDT after World War II that decimated bald eagles, osprey and Peregrine falcons.
A single book, Silent Spring, did more to stop the misuse of DDT than any other medium brought the message to the public and government and the raptors (mother's milk and many other species) were saved from the ravages of man.
May your poem do the same today as our population continually takes away wild habitat from the magnificent eagle.

Alone - That was me many years ago and since then I have found a thriving relationship with my creator through his son Jesus Christ. Since the "Alone" time my relationship has inspired me to get published a bible study guide/book on "The Armor of God - Preparation for battle". Thank you for your reviews.

Reminded of that haunting melody and the movie with Kirk Douglas, an architect with a beautiful home, but no one to share it with. A House Is Not a Home.
Know the feeling. Spent many years like that. Got used to it about three years after my wife left.
