Woodside announces release of new memoir
ROOSEVELT, N.Y. – Author Paulette Ravenel Woodside was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Taking cue from the Book of Isaiah, Woodside made the conscious decision to put her faith in God’s promise to restore her health. In “The Illusion is not The Conclusion – My Victorious Journey: Cancer-Free by My Faith in the Word of God!” (published by WestBow Press), Woodside chronicles how she prevailed against cancer through her belief in Christ.
“My desire is to inspire other cancer patients, to let them know they do not have to look at cancer as a death sentence,” Woodside says. “Replace the fear of cancer with the faith in God’s Word. The best opposition to cancer is faith in Jesus Christ.”
Woodside demonstrates how the power of prayer and belief in the Almighty provided the ultimate source of healing. With themes revolving around the fear of death, cancer and mortal uncertainty, the reader witnesses that it is God’s glory that prevails.
