Let me first start by saying to me a mire 27 pages seems to be one
"chapter" among many others that would comprise s book. Also, this book is so far from my usual genre. I am not a 'sci-fi" fan at all, however, having said all that, I must admit that "Assassin Marked' is an exceptionally well-written story. It is ripe with detailed description of the scenario at hand and the author pulls the reader in quickly with the story line.
'Assassin Marked' is basically a story about professional loyalty vs love. It is a "sci-fi" love story. The character, Captain Victoria Maruska, must choose between doing her work assignment from her place of employment or the love of her life..........no spoiler alert here!
Michael C. Sahd has a very unique writing style. I enjoyed 'Assassin Marked' and recommend you check it out. As I said earlier, sci-fi is not my genre, but if Michael Sahd releases a follow-up/continuation of 'Assassin Marked', I will definitely read it to see where the story goes.

It's interesting that your book is only 27 pages. I've seen this a lot lately from people who are publishing through Amazon. While that makes for a long short story, from your reviews that are very good, it appears like it may be just some beginning chapter or chapters.
My first novel with my ideas on first contact spanned 6000 years and was only, to my surprise, 65 pages. I serialized it here on AD so that anyone can read it. I'm about to embark on a new novel based on a short story that I posted here that several people suggested that I turn into a novel.
So, based on what I've read here, I would like to read an excerpt that is more than just a paragraph of description, so that I can decide whether or not I'm with those other reviewers when it comes to wanting to see more of your writing. I love science fiction based on science, but am having trouble with some of the comic book fantasy being introduced these days as science fiction.
