I appreciate history, and especially, history of technology. I am well aware of Auguste Piccard and his autobiography of the journey to the stratosphere. I am glad that you cited both that it was written by him as that it was translated by Christina Stead into English. I guess your contribution is to bring it to the Amazon ebook market.
That is my only concern. Although you've done well by explaining your action, except for editing and posting, you are not the original author and probably should provide the book (short story?) to the public for free like the English translation is available in the library.
