There certainly is a lot of tongue-in-cheek humor going on in this excerpt. Almost like an on stage routine between two comedians like Penn and Teller with James doing all the talking and his sidekick, Lee, taking all the verbal punches. I would classify it as dark humor rather than action/thriller. But it is in a genre all its own.
From the brief excerpt and the intonations that I picked up, I sense that this is some sort of conservative apology for the importance of mankind over women kind and all else. Your use of science fiction methodology and common literary devices and even a bit of mythology can be commendable, if you are true to what good satire does… Reveal the truth when it is purposely kept hidden by the powers that be.
