"Max and Bo, Two Dogs On The Go" is a title that is fun and takes the reader on a journey with best friends. The tale is based on the memory of two dogs who are mentioned in the dedication as residing now in heaven. These dogs are active, involved and love to celebrate. As they go through the year, the celebrate birthdays, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day and Halloween. They even gobble,gobble turkey for Thanksgiving. At the end of the year, they frolic in the Christmas snow. The illustrations are apt and appropiate and add to the text. There are pictures that test the children's knowledge of the book at the end called Pictures for Fun. The dogs in this book will remind the reader of their own love for their pets.

This is an excellent character building book. It is practical and easy to read. It helps both children and adults to be intentional about kindness and caring for those with whom they have contact. It advises the reader that "Being kind makes one a superhero." The suggestions it gives includes acts of kindness for siblings, teachers, elderly and strangers. It encourages them to be inclusive of those who are left out or vulnerable, as well as those in authority over them. The illustarations are right on time. It closes with a pledge that is called the Kindness Pledge. Hopefully, you and your child will be left better people for reading "Ten Acts Of Kindness. I highly recommend it.

This book is writtenfor children primarily, but can be enjoyed by all ages. The photographs are of children in the garb of essential city
workers. They are colorful and attractive. The characters are the main personalities that cooperate to run a city. The explanations of the disease, symptoms and precautions are an integral part of this book. Feeing unappreciated by the mayor,the workers that formerly cooperated to assist during the crisis, stop performing their duties. The distraught mayor realizes the error of her ways and once again recognizes them as necessary for her to operate effectively. The workers resolve their issues, and return to running the city. This book is a great way to ease your child's fears and to communicate about a difficult dilemmaa. A very reassuring tale is this one!

Thank you for helping young people deal with bullying. I recall my grade school years where I constantly had protect other kids from bullying. Never let anyone bully me. Fortunately I had my twin brother with me all the time making it harder for bullies to single me out and gang up on me. Although I could fight with the best of them, I avoided physical contact by simply walking away from it. If that didn't work, I ran. I was a very good runner and was never caught when gangs came after me.

This is a very sweet children's book that shows how everyone can work together and share to help a community. At one point the Mayor tells the community that an award will go to an important citizen.The Mayor feels he is most important! Others also feel they are the most important and this causes chaos and the townspeople stop sharing with one another. A meeting is held between all the people to share a medallion that was was to be given out. By sharing the medallion all the towns people felt they were equally as special. The book shows different occupations and uniforms and helps children see these are just like people in their own community. It is a nice tale about people working together, and when they do, all people benefit.

This is a very warm children's book that gives children 10 wonderful ways of being kind to one another. It also is a great reminder for Adults to be kind to one another as well. Talking about how easy a Smile is and how kind it is to receive one, Discussing that Superheros are kind is also a solid aspiration for young minds! It also mentions taking your teacher flowers or checking in on elderly neighbors. It is a very nice book with lovely illustrations. In closing it also offers a Kindness Pledge. Super Cute Book!

"Ten Acts of Kindness" is both good for kids and adults alike. Not only is the book crazy cute to look at, the suggested kindness activities are both easy yet not things we think to do each day - complete with a "pledge" sheet at the end of the book. I loved everything about this book from the look of the print, colorful adorable characters, fantastic flowing writing to the message of kindness and how to achieve it. I HIGHLY recommend this children's book.
