Loved both the happy ending, Babs taking him and and C Spencer returning from Irag to see him again. I do so remember the little dog story about a dog in a window to be bought but nobody wanted him. My mom said I used to cry when she read this story. I am so sympathetic about animals, could never give Seashore my cat away, she is 12 years or any animal I owned once I had it. But he had to but made arrangments for his family to come get doggie, True stories I love to read.

I too lost my mama of a brain tumor at age 83. I went to see her the day before she died too and knew she was going to heaven cause her breathing was erratic, just as my Tom's got 3 days before he died. I know there is a heaven and their spirits are still with us always. Love you for this write. So encouraging.

Beautifully written and well said. The object of a battle is the capture and destroy the enemry’s flag. That is the final sign of victory. For the flag is a rallying point that represents the strength of a people and their faith in a cause. Our cause was liberty, justice and freedom. Hence, who be those who have destroyed our flag, if not the enemy. I’m afraid we have lost indeed, for one need only to look to Washington to see that the enemy is already in charge..

Kathy is a friend of mine so read all her book's and short stories. When I told her I was going to read them, I thought to myself, these are not the type of book's that I ordinaly would read, but when I started the first one ( Convent and the Rose, I couldn't put it down. I have been knowing her a long time and I never knew she had such good stories in her. So far all I have read have been better than any Agatha Christy I could ever read. Keep up the good work Kathy, you are doing great and of all the people I know you are the best. Give us some more good stories.

Loved this outgoing ballad. Made me think of my love for Tom and never ending, was trouble free, and devine love. Will never let him go. I did like reading all this and encouraged me to think positively now.

Roses bloom on a bush again and again each year and finally are wanted by someone to freshin up their life and home. Roses are symbols at weddings, funerals and all, so this rose you have in honor of you should be passed around for all to see and read this write is necessary to understand miracles do happen in life.
