Today's troops are tomorrow's veterans. (Short Story) - 7/27/2005 4:00:07 AM
well done. The Vietnam Vets wife sez : Just hope today's soldiers do not become the next group of tomorrow's vets to face the fact that what they were told when they enlisted is not what they will face or receive when they older, perhaps ill and need the promised medical or other help.

To Touch Upon Scape Goats--Prologue (Short Story) - 7/19/2005 5:16:38 AM
Ugh. I can't think of a more horrible monster than a female vampire. Although I once experienced the vision of being eaten by a praying mantis! That was an interesting thought, after breaking up the word mantis into two parts. A praying man tis.

Chapter Six (Short Story) - 3/14/2005 5:27:48 PM
It would be interesting to see how you play this out. I really can not find anything wrong with it. Meaning that I am not going to tell you need to put a comma here or there but that it did hold my attention. If a story bores me and I fall asleep I don't keep reading it. So I did not fall asleep and the opening punch line about her taking a shit on the dead body does grab you.
Chapter Five (Short Story) - 3/11/2005 9:11:52 AM
excellent write; very well done!

Chapter One (Short Story) - 3/6/2005 10:39:59 PM
I applaude and commend the atmosphere and raw emotion embedded in the writing. Concepts are good. The setting is alien yet believable. Style flows well. Writer has a good voice. The only weakness lies in the first section: it reads more like a story synopsis than a story: too much is explained from the narrator's point of view. In fact, the narrator is too strong, too present in the writing. This keeps the reader from bonding with the female character as closely as possible. Readers follow her at a distance instead of being allowed intimate access to who she really is. Also, by overexplaining her...a lot of the mystery (the hook) is lost that you could have used to intrigue the reader. Sometimes less is more. Still, there's a lot of good material here to work with, a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see what you do with this in time.
The poison of your life (Poetry) - 3/15/2009 4:48:37 AM
Instead of putting one's faith in a solid object, let everyone put their faith in our Lord Jesus who will deliver us from the evils of eternal death. I rate this a 10 out of 10, and thank you so much for sharing.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie
